Faridabad, 9 March [ ATULYA LOKTANTRA ] The line departments of Faridabad district under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Sh. Jitender Yadav IAS along with Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Satbir Mann HCS had a review meeting on the District Water Resource Plan 2021-25 held at Mini Secretariat on 9th March. In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner suggested that all the departments should provide the necessary compliance at the earliest and submit a detailed action plan to the Irrigation and Water Resource Department to compile so that the report would be sent to the state.
Representative of Haryana Water Resource Authority, Panchkula Sh N K Nijhawan, Consultant and Mrs Vinni Munjal Consultant attending the review meeting gave suggestions and improvements on the preparation of report. They said that the district water resource plan of Faridabad has been much better in comparison to other districts.
The Deputy Commissioner also asked the Haryana water resource agency to provide the technology and capacity building training to the staff in order to regulate the grey water that has been flowing on the water bodies, so that they can be used in the agricultural fields.
